Sunset Photography

The sun set in the sky, an effect called “scattering” occurs. As the sun sets, each of the rays travel different distances. The distance they travel, the more atmospheric elements these rays will hit; and thus the different colors with the sky.

The distance they move determines if the rays appear red, orange, blue,or violet. So in order to capture a truly amazing picture, you need patience and the proper exposure.never place the horizon line directly in the center of your picture.
Before the sun goes below the horizon point, consider shooting in HDR to capture most of the dynamic range. If we want the sun to look big in the sunset, use a telephoto lens.If we want the sun to look short in the picture, use a wide-angle lens.focal length setting and choice of viewpoint will make a big difference to the picture.

A quickly grabbed wide-angle shot might capture the largest area of sky but won't definitely give you the best composition.A longer focal length and a chosen viewpoint can give a much more effective result.Atmosphere changes quickly, so it's good to get a few shots done quickly first.
